Absolutely amazing.!!!!!! The salsa Very Yummy !! The Guacamole Very Yummy !! The California burritos with queso are to die for!!!!! Super YUMMY ! And to top it all off we got the pleasure to meet the Owner Jessie who is absolutely amazing. Our server Sunshine and Lucas were the best ! I absolutely will be coming back and I will be spreading the word!!!

Maria, Jessie, and the rest of the staff were so helpful with helping me plan my Dad’s 60th birthday dinner at La Pena! They were incredibly accommodating, attentive, and made my Dad’s birthday celebration so special. They allowed me to come early and decorate, and were so kind and understanding when I needed to change my reservation time. The drinks are fantastic and the food is absolutely delicious. If I could give 10/10 stars I would. If you are planning an event or celebration I would highly recommend La Pena! You will not regret it! Thank you so much for making our time together so special.

We had such a great experience! The portions are huge, especially for the price—you definitely get your money’s worth. Everything came out fresh, hot, and delicious, and the fajitas were absolutely loaded. The service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and fast without ever making us feel rushed. And a big bonus: the beers were actually ice cold! 🍺 Great food, generous portions, cold beer, excellent prices, and amazing service. What more could you ask for? Definitely a 5-star experience, and we’ll be back!

The location is great. Near several hotels so you can walk over. The food was amazing very authentic. The carne asada is so tender and the mole is amazing. We had a large party and the service was spot on. The servers were all very friendly and the owners walk around engaging with the customers and even lend a hand when the servers are busy. They have several tv’s so you won’t miss any games while enjoying a great meal. The drinks were fantastic especially the Patton Tower.

Chili relleno was still frozen. The food was lack luster. Presentation well is apparently lacking garnish. Wasn't terrible,just not what I expected from other posts. The place lacked character in my opinion. We tried the place but would have preferred the mexican restaurant next door. Chips and salsa were great! We ate after lunch rush, maybe people were burnt out?

Thank goodness this place finally opened! This area has been needing a real Mexican restaurant, and this one absolutely delivers. The food was incredible, the drinks were even better, and the service was outstanding. With Jesse and Maria behind it, this restaurant has the kind of experience and passion that gives you confidence from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere was perfect—the music was at just the right volume, and the décor is beautifully done. Everything came together to create an amazing dining experience. I can’t wait to come back. This is going to become one of our regular spots!

We love La Pena! Service is amazing! Food is delicious and the ambiance is perfect. We’ve had dinner and breakfast and both were so good. We will definitely be stopping in often. Highly recommend!

A group of friends and I had breakfast at La Peña, and it was outstanding! The food was top-notch, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was impressive. I had the carne asada and eggs—the eggs were cooked perfectly over medium, and the steak was flavorful and delicious. The appetizers were incredible as well. I highly recommend the esquites and the chicharrón con guacamole. This is definitely going to be our new favorite Mexican spot in Temecula. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic owners, great food and service! Came here on Taco Tuesday and was greeted by smiling owners. I felt so welcome, like I was a part of the family! I can't wait to come back!
